Description
Atlantic Pump Protectors prevent the number one cause of direct drive pump failure, overheating. Atlantic's Pump Protector automatically shuts off direct drive pumps before they can be damaged by voltage spikes, brownouts, running while not fully submerged or while blocked. It electronically monitors power fluctuation caused by adverse running conditions in 120V direct drive pumps drawing up to 14 Amps. When the current change exceeds either of two pre-set levels, power to the direct drive pump is cut off until physically reset, no cycling on and off, no overheating.
